Moc Chau plateau

"A great place to visit in the north of Vietnam where you can enjoy the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful panoramas, which appear here before your eyes every 10 minutes. Heart shaped tea field

          The Moc Chau plateau - promises its visitors beautiful walks amid tea plantations, exciting walks in the high mountains and unusual encounters in a small village of Thai, Hmong or Dao ... There are about ten ethnic groups in the area and it is an ideal place to get lost discover nature and preserved cultures hidden in the mountains of the northwest.

The Moc Chau Plateau is located at an altitude of 1050 meters and about 200 kilometers northwest of Hanoi. The Moc Chau Plateau is a natural pearl of, a must for nature lovers. The area offers the advantages of a cool climate, characterized by average temperatures of 20 degrees in the summer and dry weather in the winter compared to other regions.
80 kilometers long and 25 kilometers wide, Moc Chau immerses you in its approximately 1,600 hectares of pasture where peach, bauhinia, plum and mustard flowers bloom depending on the season. An oasis of green, where you can avoid the heat and crowds without being too far from the capital.

 

In particular, the tea slope in the shape of a heart is iconic in beauty. They are ideal for a nice and pleasant stopover on your trip. The ant work of the farmers of Moc Chau makes beautiful cultures an inspiring source for all photography lovers and newlyweds.

At the crossroads of the two countries Laos and Vietnam the Pha Luong Mountains invite you to go for a hike and reach the roof of the Moc Chau Plateau at almost 2000 meters above sea level. If the climb to the top is not too difficult for you, the jungle slopes and dirt roads will give hikers unforgettable moments. At the top of Phu Luong, you have a breathtaking panorama of the Vietnamese and Laotian villages, which are surrounded by forested mountains.

The province is more interesting. The area is largely undiscovered, but it has great tourist potential. Most of the area of Son La is covered with mountains, hills and terraced rice fields. This is home to various ethnic minorities, such as Kinh, Dao, H'Mong and Thai (about 1000 inhabitants) ...
Green tea is grown on the Moc Chau Plateau. The tea fields here are 80 kilometers long and 25 kilometers wide. The average temperature here is 21 degrees. There are some great ways to discover the beauty of Moc Chau. You can just go for a walk through the green hills and take pictures of the villages, wooden houses, terraces and the locals. You can also hike through the valleys and get in touch with locals by buying some Moc Chau Milk (a traditional product).
The Dai Yem Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in Moc Chau, at the foot of the waterfall you can see silver shiny water. This is caused by the cool streams that flow down from the high mountains of the Moc Chau plateau.
The Moc Chau Doi Cave (bat cave) is well known by tourists. When you enter the cave you will see beautiful stalactites. They have different shapes, such as gerbera, rice, fairy, fairies, elephants, lions, tigers, lizards, eagles and even hovering clouds. The entrance to the cave is over 30 meters high. In the center of the cave there is a large dry lake with a large stone turtle in the center.
