SAPA MAP
environment and village
"After lunch we went back to the hostel. Later Yvonne and I went looking for a private guide for a trekking.
We found the guide after a long search. We also wanted to go to the waterfall and after some negotiation we agreed the price. Not expensive for a private guide for 2 people including lunch and transport back by motor taxi.
We gave a "pinky promis" or "pinky sore" that we would show up at the agreed place the next day. Because yes, if we don't show up, he doesn't have a deserving working day.
The three of us walked on and ended up at a restaurant with a balcony which had a view of the mountains.
I think this was the best view I ever had coffee.
I had already had an egg coffee in Hanoi, but I got the coffee served cold there. This time I would like to try the warm variant, because Yvonne swore it had to be really good.
And yes .. to be honest this was one of the better coffees I've ever had!"
A clear map of Sapa and environs, including the pretty villages of Cat Cat, Ta Phin and the Tram Ton Pass. The surrounding villages live among others the Black Hmong, Tay, Xapho and the Red Dzao. They are nicely dressed in their own costumes. A trekking trail has also been drawn on the map. You can use the city map to find the post office, museum, etc. Sapa is a trekking place, where hikers want to discover the rural environment of ascending rice terraces. As soon as you walk through the lush rice fields, you will realize that this is the charm of the area around Sapa.

The environment of Sapa
The city map of Sapa Town with the center, lake, sports fields, etc. Unfortunately, the market of Sapa is not in the center of the village. It is located in a purpose-built modern building near the bus station. You can see the daily and colorful life of the inhabitants. From Sapa you can take beautiful walks in the area.
