DALAT MAP

"You take the cable car to the monastery and this gives you fabulous views of the countryside around Dalat. The monastery despite all its visitors was a haven of peace with beautiful buildings and gardens. The continual tinkering of wind chimes and the smell of josh sticks all add to the peaceful atmosphere. It is an active monastery so its important to respect local traditions. We also found the monks to be friendly, but you should always ask their permission if you want to take their photo."
